Stephen’s Story

Learning what works

Learning all about what really works in dieting has certainly had an impact on me. One of my biggest concerns is that so many diets counsellors out there are doing no better than their clients. If you have ever watched Little Britain you will know what I mean.

Getting really fit

Over the last few months I have decided to get myself ‘really fit’. This was for a couple of reasons.

1) The first was a looming birthday

2) The second was that I realised that if I was fitter I would enjoy my dancing much more.

What did I want to achieve?

So I looked at what I wanted to achieve. We have found that people who actually achieve their goals do so because getting them makes them feel good. So I started pondering how I wanted to feel good. It basically came down to being able to feel lighter on my feet when dancing and to feel strong and have good stamina so I could dance more.

I also realised that I had a bit of an issue with looking too good. Yep ladies, guys can get unwanted attention too.

Applying the Toolkit to myself

So I used the HMC Toolkit on myself and cleared that rubbish up and there has been no looking back. I’m much fitter than I was a few months ago and that includes the shedding of about 10lbs as well.

My eating has changed to fit my desire to be ‘really fit’ and I am loving the exercise I need to do to have what I want.

Am I there yet?

Not yet, but I’m really happy with the changes so far. I have a new goal of wanting to be ‘really, really fit’ and that may mean that another 4 or5 lbs may come off but actually fitness is my main goal, not weight.

As I work out what ‘really, really fit’ actually means I’m feeling great and loving the benefits to my dancing. Feeling good about yourself is addictive so I know I will keep this up.

I’ll keep you posted.
