Processed food = risk of depression

In the News: People who eat more processed food are more at risk of depression.

We all know the saying “you are what you eat” but it seems this goes a little further: “you think what you eat“. Research has shown that people who eat too much of the usual suspect foods that you already know you should cut down on may have a link to increased likelihood of depression.

Plus, of course, that when you eat this stuff you don’t tend to look that good in the mirror so that does not help how you feel either.

So if you’re not getting the right nutrients you may be a bit more at risk from depression, but if you have a healthy diet with better nutrition you feel better. Makes sense to me.

The trouble is the foods people reach for when they are down seem to be ones that make it worse. Oh dear!

You might as well eat better, get slim and, most importantly, have a nice sexy and slim smile on your face at the same time.
