Healthy Weight For Mind And Body
Many people talk about wanting to get to a healthy weight. The more I talk to people the more I’m convinced you need to set a target that is for both the mind and body.
Most people know what weight they should be, how to maintain a healthy weight, BMI, percentage body fat, etc, etc, etc or, if they don’t, these things are easy to find out.
Generally people have also been told about, or are aware of, the various health risks involved with being over weight, but do these really motivate us?
NO!
What makes the real difference is that you feel good about yourself and that means feeling good about your body for more than just the weight or the size.
If I were to ask you what size / weight would make you feel good both for your self esteem and confidence what would that be?
The mathematicians at the insurance companies like to tell you the best size to be and, in some ways, they are right because their decisions are based on pure data from illness and death rates.
But the reason why people change their eating behaviours once and for all is not because of these numbers.
Success comes from wanting to feel pride in yourself, feel fit, sexy, confident …
What is a healthy weight for both your mind and body?
